for sure, you didn't deserve that at all, however you have to see it from their no doubt frustrated perspective. when you have absolutely illiterate cloth eared ambient dunderheads (represented by the archetype of craner on here) repeatedly asking that question like dogs infected with rabies, even in the late 90s I honestly cannot blame them.

From what I've been able to gather from orbitting the autechre universe for a good 15+ years is that they alienated a lot of their very early fans after tri repetae. Especially with Ep7 and Chiastic Slide. For me that's when they get really unique though, culminating in confield, and then later untilted, oversteps, exai and the nts sessions.
