How did you get your Super-Powers?

i don't have superpowers. but i do think there are certain intense transformative experiences that shape everything that comes after, gives you skills and perspectives. for me they were i) the psychedelics of my teenage years ii) a lot of backpacking far off the beaten path iii) being in a war for years.
What war were you in?

My super powers were cultivated at age eight when I wore shorts and t-shirts to school in frigid winter weather and willed myself to not feel it. I read a lot of teen spy books like the Alex Ryder series and Artemis Fowl and I said, if they can do it I can do it

while I think it is silly to speculate on whether this stuff actually happens or not (what's the point?), I personally have no doubt in my mind that it is possible, and that some individuals are very capable of, and have acheived levels of mastery compared to which bending a spoon is child's play.

I think individuals who reach these heights are on much higher planes of consciousness (relative to ordinary people), and whether the world is impressed with their "abilities" or not is of absolutely less than zero consequence to them -- in fact, they probably make sure that it is hidden from the public, whose lower spectrum energy fluctuations can only hinder them on their quest.

in most Tibetan temples levitation and flight is within first year's study -- it's like, newbie freshmen boring crap to them.
