Ah yes, the emergency-approval vaccine.
Taking it boosts your social status but only if you boast about it.

On Etsy, eBay, Facebook and Twitter, little rectangular slips of paper started showing up for sale in late January. Printed on card stock, they measured three-by-four inches and featured crisp black lettering. Sellers listed them for $20 to $60 each, with a discount on bundles of three or more. Laminated ones cost extra.
All were forgeries or falsified copies of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention vaccination cards, which are given to people who have been inoculated against Covid-19 in the United States.
Vaccines deal with target variants but increase susceptibility to other ones, prompting new vaccines which do the same...all against an unchanging backdrop of economic and social decline.
Well that's your "let's all catch it and then we'll be immune" thing you were promoting a year ago blown the fuck out of the water, wouldn't you say?Widespread exposure to the first virus in Brazil may similarly be exacerbating the impact of their current variant.
Has this happened with any of the many viral vaccines we've been using routinely for decades?Worst case is that common cold viruses become much deadlier.
Antibody dependent enhancement was already known about but obv having a corrupt media that ignores or suppresses anything beyond the party line means the general public knows little about this:

Yes, with some (all?) of the coronaviral ones that have failed to come to market every time until now.Has this happened with any of the many viral vaccines we've been using routinely for decades?
I think it's a minimalist assertion that there is no evidence for it with the unstated caveat that only long-term data would provide any evidence.doesn't that sound more like garden variety legal-ese, protecting themselves with language that you find on any drug ever? "available data does not indicated a risk of vaccine-enhanced disease and conversely suggest effectiveness...however, risk of something happening sometime in the future is unknown". well, yeah, isn't that the case with everything in life?
Everywhere else that did that is okay at the moment. Ideally, herd immunity exhausts the available variants before a mutant gets a foothold - same principle to the vaccines.Well that's your "let's all catch it and then we'll be immune" thing you were promoting a year ago blown the fuck out of the water, wouldn't you say?
