Francis likes the small details, such as thd baby's head peeping through the woman's coat, on this Ford Madox Brown, an excellent example of Pre-Raphaelite painting.
Don't really understand what happened to Channel 4, it would be better if it got stuck in a time warp like Radio 4 and still did programmes like this, instead of all the reality bollocks they can leave to someone else.
