Weird how there’s a Source Direct revival? Is it because they were a bit goth? Or the enduring power of St Albans?

It’s brilliant and awful alternately. The tunes are brilliant. White guys from St Albans getting into jungle is amazing. But lots of people here see that all as the death knell.

Their stupid cars are terrible but also brilliant. The weird Home Counties gangster chic is just awful but also funny and quite endearing.

You just get the sense that they know they’ve stumbled onto something amazing and then try to filter it in all these really self defeating ways. I imagine they were insufferable.
