I enjoyed most stones albums thru "some girls", which is still pretty solid. followed, of course, by decades of retreads aside from the track "emotional rescue" and a couple from "Tattoo You".
but they're a different animal from the Beatles. early years for both were yr basic chuck berry-inspired rock'n roll (with more blues on the stones side), but they they took off in different directions and the Beatles just developed in so many more dimensions than the stones ever did (or wanted to, to be fair).
