I'm not an avid Eastenders viewer but I try to keep up with it, because I think when it's good it can be great and I always think that it's wonderful when the BBC is able to set the conversation around Big Topics by virtue of having characters explore them on what's arguably its flagship entertainment programme. The Danny Dyer childhood sex abuse story has been really well done, and I love that they've given it to an actor known for being a lad in the truest sense.
