Another example of good, late, Weatherall strings. Second half of the track only, 4:30 or so onwards.

Probably. He was a good marketting exec of nothing after 1990 though, incidentally when he stopped making any music. Kenny took his template and just intensified it. It's one thing that makes me annoyed about UK detroit purism that it doesn't (even from a purist detroit perspective) acknowledge the variety of innovation in the 313. May can be a good dj when he's on it but when he's not it's pretty boring having to hear I hear love for the 10 gazillionth time. Whilst its tempting to shit on the man some of his sets from '95-96 are just great lessons on playing housey yet still with the forward momentum of techno (what tech house could be.) And I can't deny that he gave me a decent night out in 2012.

many years ago I was in a forgiving mood and decided to give this a chance. i have not since let anything of this genre through the door, but it has grown beautifully in my world, with regular waterings, care and attention, into a dear dear thing that i wouldn't part with for anything
