He says that the thing that matters as to whether the thing will penetrate the tank is the "energy per unit area" but isn't it just the force per area ie pressure? What am I missing?

Anyway, I know I'm pretty much the only person apart from Elon who thinks this, but I reckon his weird space tanks actually look quite cool. Have I totally lost all sense of taste?

Saw a clip of him the other day where he talked about shitting his pants driving home in his Lexus and having to drive with the window down for 25 minutes.

I did actually. Seems like he's influenced by Adam Curtis.

I didn't know about Rogan's dad beating his mum and then running away.

I used to listen to Rogan quite a bit... I don't know how long it was before I realised that the man himself is a major league moron and one of the unfunniest people on record. But - I was going to say "he had good people on", but did he?

I actually think the bar to interest of a podcast is quite low. Sometimes I think I could fairly happily listen to anyone talk to anyone else for three hours about absolutely anything. The only proviso is your voice isn't REALLY annoying.

Nevertheless I can't now pretend I wasn't part of the rise of Rogan, that he tapped into something in me with his talk of psychedelics and kettle bells and comedians society's great sages and truth tellers

Plus I'm quite short myself

He was always a weed & goofy conspiracy theory sort of guy, but he went off the deep end during the pandemic and started shoehorning it into basically every conversation. He still does it now. There was a point at which it seemed all he wanted to talk about was COVID, trans athletes, 'cancel culture' and how California was a shithole.

The comedian-pontificating-on-politics thing's taken a couple of hits recently. The other week Bill Burr criticised a bunch of journalists asking his opinion on current events when he's just a comedian and Douglas Murray's just caused a bit of a stir going on Rogan and grilling him on his and his friends and associates' "not an expert, just asking questions... " brand of political discussion.
