Drive and LaLa Land or anything with him right?A film lots of people hate, but which I still dunno what I think of is Only God Forgives.
No, not feminine at all, quite the opposite - hyper-masculine. Think Freddie Mercury at Live Aid.Haven’t seen it. Is he muscular curvy? I read a book on westerns from 15 years ago saying Bruce Willis camped the action hero where the super buffness emulated curvy lady. Is this what you mean by “looked very, very gay” or what?
Yeah that’s what I mean! The muscles look curvy and bulgey so that feminizesNo, not feminine at all, quite the opposite - hyper-masculine. Think Freddie Mercury at Live Aid.
Did @148 I.Q. Magical Thinker have anything to do with this film? That recent Shane Black Predator film's one of the worst films I've ever seen and pretty much everyone thinks that one's shit. It's the one where the predators think autism's the next stage in human evolution...
I guess, never thought of it in those terms.Yeah that’s what I mean! The muscles look curvy and bulgey so that feminizes
Drive sucks - like a metadata TetrisDrive is amazing
Have you seen The Driver? Apparently it borrows a lot from that.
camp masculinity, like a western, like the roof top scene of brad pitt in once upon a time we look at him like a beauty (female position in Classical Hwood)I guess, never thought of it in those terms.
Brilliant cold blooded bank robberies and terrifying car chase actionHave you seen The Driver? Apparently it borrows a lot from that.
You mean I have taste? We seem to have radically diverging tastes @HannahB
Yes I do and that radically diverges from mineYou mean I have taste?
You'd have thought a much more obvious title would have been simply The Exorcist? Unless that was already taken or something. 🤷♂️My brother got this terrible box set of, I think, Christian horror films and there was this appalling one called Exorcism: The Movie. There was a scene where this guy was all down and dejected and his wife or someone was like "What's wrong, honey?" and he just sighed and said "Satan wants my soul," as though he was talking about a rough day at the office.
