poss her greatest ever singing on this track imo, those slightly precariously stretched syllables, riding currents, the controlled melisma, the delicious poise between sadness and bliss, her watchfulness and awareness but not heavily held

If it's not UK, its a hippyish San Francisco daisies-between-the-toes kind of thing, but I've got UK rural in my mind, and I think it was quite famous?

That track was famous enough to be on one of the many multitudes of rave cash-in compilations that flooded all of the CD stores here - even the most boring chains and big box stores.
I remember a girl I was kind of seeing, we tripping together, and she brought that CD out and started going on about that track, specificaly that intro.
Kind of broke my heart, it did.
