what is very interesting to me is, how can you tell a tune is christian if there is no voice singing lyrics?

oh yeah plenty of times I have witnessed as a kid. an experience that's pretty out there to be honest. haven't tried it myself, as it kinda creeps me out.

it's not really scatting, it's closer to people casting spells. spitting out syllabes coming from the subconscious. I do enjoy when people control themselves, I think.
not my thing watching people do that whether it's in drug or religion induced ecstasy.

I suppose as long as it isn't using the "tritone" or "backward masking" then it can be repurposed or appropriated?

There's the fame factor too. If you know you're in the public eye then you're inevitably going to become much more conscious of your appearance.

i was thinking the other day about how if you were in tv or anything that involved looking at videos of yourself all the time, how it would be pretty hard not to get a bit obsessed with what you look like

Im not sure, I think most male actors get plugs at some point and you can only tell until you look at pictures from early in their career

musicians as well. i'm always amazed by how many guys in metal bands, which weirdly is quite an image-obsessed world, have hairlines like 18 year olds.
