this morning I've been playing with this new Text to Music collab notebook ( code on GitHub )

using J.H Prynne for the prompts, the majority of results sound like generic youtube royalty free background music ( although the GitHub page claims copyright for any music the code produces ), but there is the odd exception

fortunately for everyone I have no way of uploading the audio to Dissensus

the GitHub mentions that the second collaborator notebook ( which I haven't tried yet ) is using some combination of deforum (text to video) / stable diffusion / mubert

looking at the notebook it's deforum / stable diffusion to generate an animation and then it generates the audio separately using their mystery process, and finally combines them..

a quick search for mubert reveals it to be a sham - they're just selecting prerecorded music based on a text prompt - what a con...

there's another good text to audio one i tried but cannot find it right now, obviously can only generate techno or piano tracks for now.
also, a friend of mine had pretty good results of using ai jukebox, I think they really improved it over the past couple years
