There’s a track Submerged/Un-submerged but no audio available, track 10 of Dark Drippings is a soundboard extract from 2008’s London Fields Lido 'swimming pool' concert above, rather than the underwater recording used on Dark Fat

shorthand - a catalogue of the journey towards release Dark Fat

Salt/Salt Marie Celeste/SMC The Musical all have variations on the motion of the sea. 1st version below is ultra minimal but still effective as fuck with the range of bottom end sounds justifying your best headphones/speakers even for YT. Aye it’s utterly boring and does not groove but to my ears its relentless cycling tidal waves tap into far more primal elemental rhythms experienced for millennia as a species

performed live and juiced right up

All kicking off again, tried to articulate @mvuent a cartographic journey into “water ambient” because I couldn’t handle Lustmord’s ubiquitous dripping taps at 5:10am GMT

and before forgetting, a journey to Avebury and probably a repost

surely a chunk of people have been at least once and because it has Derek Jarman’s sepia-drenched 8mm film courtesy of a YT uploader incorporated so much the better for a Coil classic

back to the death!

discrete chord structures <------> blended textural harmony

Recently played my mom one of my all time favorite tracks when she was last here, a "Calgon, take me away" track, a track where it's like I'm in a primordial liquid cocoon, like when was I very young kid and ethereal angels reached out to me when I was drowning when I had come to accept my fate*, a track that I would pick as my "stimming" track if I had to pick a "stimming" track
Their response - "it doesn't do anything" - what?!

*People on the autism spectrum are _160_ (yes, 160!) more times likely to die from drowning starting around the age of 5

twitter is just for "business" - meaning promoting mixes, not that it really works much... I mean, get views (probably due to using hashtags), but I've got only one follower (and a few bots or whatever) 🤣

try this next time

It's the exact opposite of ambient aesthetically. intensely demanding throuh its reliance on modal progression.

Prynne, at this point, hopes that “maybe
we can listen to the rain / without always thinking about rain” as rain, i.e. as
the images and associations already on file, so to speak. And when Prynne
connects landscape with history and human desires, or when he claims that
“twigs are inside / us,” he is close to Merleau-Ponty’s vision of the coexistence
of an embodied subject and the world.
