I was on an internet odyssey last night looking for the tale of the man who jammed the entire italian traffic light system with a single matchstick. Does anyone else recall that ancient pre-internet urban myth? Not even snopes seems to remembers it

Closest i could find was a half hearted listicle on Kapersky about how different versions of the Italian Job movie portray the business of hacking Italian traffic lights, https://www.kaspersky.com/blog/three-italian-jobs/37841/
one thing i learned was that the traffic light hacker in the original IJ was played by none other than the odious Benny Hill - i'm not gonna post a yt, you can find it for yourself
