Apps better than Shazam?

I might be wrong but looks like Shazam picks up anything that is on iTunes.

Is there a similar kind of app with a deeper reach? Or one specifically for tracks on Soundcloud?

There's a couple of tunes that I need to track down!

The only other similar app I’m aware of is SoundHound but I’ve only tried it when Shazam didn’t know, and it also didn’t know. Best bet is asking for IDs in relevant forums, or contacting the DJ or presenter of wherever you heard it.
