I mean, in a way you're absolutely right, and I'm sure the current administration's support for Israel is a large part of why Harris lost. But that just illustrates that large sections of the American left are every bit as morally bankrupt and intellectually vacuous as the right.

I guess, but just how perfect does a Democratic candidate have to be in order to win against Trump?
Trump, whatever else you can say about him, is certainly not "faceless." But this is starting to sound like an argument that many Americans will simply vote for whoever they find the most charismatic or entertaining, regardless of what they're actually saying or what their policies are. Which may even be true, I suppose.

Yeah, my main takeaway's how much of a bubble the Democrats and a load of their voters seem to exist in. So many comments flooding Reddit expressing shock and dismay at the fact she could lose at all and claiming the only explanation is that America hates women.
There's a lot of squirming going on over the fact it can't all be pinned on white guys too as tons of women and minorities voted for him.
