according to Google, The "chud" insult is indeed traceable to the movie "C.H.U.D." As early as 1989, "chud" was in use among UCLA students to mean "disgusting, gross." Pamela Munro's "Slang U" derives the word from the movie's acronym
It's an explicitly political term nowadays. It's what younger Americans call right wingers online. You won't see them calling other disgusting people the same thing.
Maybe it's old, but 'crash out' is one I've only seen in the last year or so. People used to say someone was having a meltdown on Twitter, now they say they're crashing out on Twitter.
