I wouldn't be as bothered by England if they were at least exciting. There are worse teams who still go for it. It's the timidity and conservatism that rankles.

hizbullah destroyed their brains, you can't expect much else at this rate.

first they have to cure the internal brain hemorrhages, then maybe they will be less timid.

england will probably have to play against holland, both teams have been extremely disappointing, especially england considering all the quality they have. will probably be a wild and fun match.

The refs being especially harsh on diving's been another positive this tournament. I think there've been at least two or three yellows for simulation.

I haven't been watching it really but that sounds a positive development. As long as it's done properly of course, there's nothing worse than seeing your man get cut in half by a savage and deliberate attack - and then when he's finally able to stand getting booked for simulation.

I watched England v Slovenia though... and it would be so easy to just join in with all the negative comments... so I will. I was really surprised at quite how bad they were... just so lacking in adventure. Thing is there were a couple of moments when they almost put together half of a good move and there was so much space opening up so easily. Slovenia were tidy enough, on the ball and breaking they were fine, but really if England had had the courage to throw a bit more ar them, there were goals to be had.

This is a crazy stat: [OptaJoe] 3 - Phil Foden has passed the ball more times to Jordan Pickford (3) than to Harry Kane (1) at EURO 2024.

It's so cute how seriously they will take it despite the end result being statistically insignificant due to the small number of games.

Got into work as the 2nd Swiss goal went flying in, (Vargas?), definition of perfect placement for a right footed curler just like me during 5-a-side

schmeichel, what a clown. at least his dad could step up in key moments, even if manchester united is the archetypical mugs team.
