Symphonic Soul

What do we mean by symphonic soul? What are the biggest most orchestral and produced soul music tracks you can think of and who are the key producers?

Anyone care to add to my playlist?

Dionne Warwick - Track of the Cat
Curtis Mayfield - Kung Fu
The Temptations - Smiling Faces Sometimes
The Spinners - Ain't No Price on Happiness

I post on another forum where they love that Motown and Uptempo Northern stuff. I'm no expert though. I post some stuff and they call it Pop Music.

This record (apparently with incognito P-Funk backing) is like a gorgeous bridge between late 60s psych-soul and early 70s symphonic, no strings but a lush and trippy atmosphere:

I feel like if you're ok with where soul goes into disco, there's gonna be a ton of it, not forgetting even the names like Salsoul Orchestra and Love Unlimited Orchestra kind of spell it out.

Not symphonic by any stretch of the imagination, but probably my favourite use of strings on a soul record. Gritty midtempo Southern soul (even grittier on my battered vinyl copy) but when the strings come back at around 1.24 it goes heavenward:

Love that sound. What I know of it anyway. What I call the Philly Sound too. Thanks for all suggestions so far.
