Happy Holidays, Folks

Let's Talk About Ceps
Our Christmas tradition is a Swedish dinner: vegan meatballs, scalped potatoes, ligonberry sauce, snow berries, green vegetables, fresh baked bread.

And then we watch the first half of Fanny and Alexander, stopping right before the dad dies

Vegan Christmas dinner wins you the approval of Melanie Nazareth (apt name!) of Christian Climate Action:

You should watch the five episode series, the first episode is basically the Christmas party, no dad death. And it's much better, fills in loads of blanks.

It's on YouTube.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I'm home alone cos I'm ill and my dad has COVID. So this will be the first Christmas eve I ever spend separately from my family and the first on which I'll potentially be paralytically drunk by 3pm.

I've only seen the first two parts of five having watched the film the day before. I liked the film quite a lot but I could tell stuff was missing.

If you've got criterion channel think you can watch it there. There's a criterion blu ray too but I need a region 1 player unfortunately.
