Via a back-channel I've been chided that there's supposed to be a read to go with the sounds, whoops. This is reminding me of an old younger friend who would always say "the music of um is irrelevant", but as a compliment.
I'm researching other threads but the closest I can get to protocol is:

it means a solid few weeks of full time work. drawing up the long list. agonising over how to whittle it down. listening and relistening. drafting the essays and anecdotes to accompany each song.

But I do understand there are no rules. I will do as I please, as under duress, with accompanying text, as a treat.
