I don't fight, I run away

I have thirteen:

4. Joy Division - Closer (1980)
12. The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967)
15. PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love (1995)
16. The Doors - The Doors (1967)
17. Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures (1979)
23. Bulgarian State Television Female Choir - Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares (1987)
27. The Cure - Faith (1981)
37. Siouxsie and the Banshees - The Scream (1978)
69. Tubeway Army - Replicas (1979)
96. The Cure - Seventeen Seconds (1980)
130. Bone Orchard - Stuffed to the Gills (1983)
138. PJ Harvey - Is This Desire? (1998)
196. Last Few Days - Pure Spirit and Saliva Live (1986)

not sure I'd call most of them "goth" really

but nice to see Bone Orchard in there (y)

Wouldn't expect anything from Uncut, and can't be arsed to argue about which ones patently aren't 'goth', but producing a 200-list without any mention of Blood & Roses or The Drowning Craze takes some chutzpah.

Insane for 200 albums all the bands not listed. In no particular order: David Sylvian, Jesu, Lowlife, Stockholm Monsters, Durutti Column, Section 25, Cabaret Voltaire, Crispy Ambulance, Hula, Sleeping Dogs Wake, Area, Collection D'Arnell Andrea among others. What about Nick Drake? There are some 70's Prog you could say are Goth-y as well. Totally disqualified for not having a single album from And Also The Trees, a band which received support from the Cure, so go figure. Speaking of which, Pornography should be #1. Kudos for including Cindytalk.

I wouldn't say any of Durutti Column, Section 25, Cabaret Voltaire, Crispy Ambulance, and Hula are goth. At all really. Don't know about the others.

I get it, but chucking in The VU and The Doors feels like they ran out of ideas. Surprised there's no Type O Negative.

I told am not gonna get suckrd in to arguing about what's goth or not... but The Doors? That's just silly.

Some good choices in there... I really like Kas Product, particularly the line when shevsays "never come back you're just a dirty twat".

The singer is very striking with those crazy eyes

I love this one although it's not on the album
