Sorry kent but but it's like tackhead go out of their way to find the most annoying frequencies possible on the wavelength and then turn them up to full, it's sadistic!

no problem!

I'm expecting 0bleak and third to chip in now about how both of us are lightweights and how tackhead is just marshmallow bubblegum pop and what is the fuss about, "girly" baby beats, etc...

It's funny though because, even though I might be known as a person with tastes that lean towards "noisy beats", other people have posted stuff, at least once or twice, that I found too much.
I don't remember if it was because it was too "noisy" per se in a conventional way, but something about it was hurting my ears. I think possibly over compressed or something like that.

Gregory Isaacs - Corn a go bust

cool ruler rides rough digital rhythm

I might have mentioned that one of my hobbies is to select a random pile of Xterminator 7 inches and play them while Xtremely drunk

Did a search for Orbital and outside of Belfast nothing shows

Hard to articulate and a tad cliched to try and describe such tunes with drugs in mind, but, epitome of a dove record if that makes any sense. Two copies to maximise reprises of the softer elements in the first half ..

Sweet Exorcist b-side secret weapon, bleep signature intact but far more going on percussively, a loose lassoing lolloping gate bridging dark and light

Aware previous Frequencies picks are laced throughout, more for the extended intro and its knack for drawing up memories of car missions (again) trying to find afterparty addresses surrounded by The Big Smoke’s gleaming skylines. Loved the album art of stick figure minimalism against polished Sheffield-Warp black
