I used to go to the hacienda in the days when bands like the swans played and there would be 3 people apart from me and I remember Gira hanging over the microphone and his spittle gathered and then dribbled onto the head of the lone headbanger

MDMA really made changes to that "space'

vinyl didn't come out until 91 which is when I bought it, but CD came out in 90 so it's technically 90

^they're also both on labels (Big Sex and Interfish) which became better well known as the famous techno label, Tresor, in 1991

Fierce, always thought the backwards hat and strange facial hair look was a bit daft, nevertheless a Venus stomper, just wish he’d edited out that nothing riff sequence

I made minimal contributions to another 19** thread but 75% of them were Strictly Rhythm, which must say something?

and I'm a breakbeat ragga jungle techno guy, with no time for house, lol

Will have to re-go through all these over the weekend, just trying not to forget key pieces

it’s dead here at work with about 140 tabs open slowly developing a dementia over dates

I may be a bit OCD, I "almost' embarked on a mission to collect all strictly rhythm releases but I'm not actually autistic so instead I collected the first 200 Greensleeves 12 inches, lol, had to direct that energy

Borderline Label Completionist Disorder By Proxy? Me too ..

Benny’s “NY Ravey” thread has multiple picks for 1990, trying not to crosspost with all 90’s threads open while attempting to finish a grant bid draft surrounded by death

Another old favourite from youknowwhos, see also @the ig ’s point re simplicity (and succinct too under 5 mins)
