Does anyone here have an Irish accent?

Elon of my loins
of my lewd Eloi 'magination
When was your name ever untarnished?
When was your collar ever unharnessed?
Elon Eloi of my loinloose litter

Where did you come from,
Where did you go?
eLord ally of a loonlubed mind;
Mars-eyed gogo of me
Let'er'loose, sink-ships, lonesome litter
Eh Elon Eloi of my loinloose litter

Who taught you to distill your pain to pleasure?
Eh Eloi alloy of a liltloam eel
Lifts aloft, lilting off, lumens looping from its wetware launch by
Lauded looting Elon of the eLore
Eloin of my lounging machination
Eh Elon Eloi of my loinloose litter
feel like there's an opportunity to pull something like the manchester neo-primitivists archive here. you could upload the chosen reading to youtube w/ a blurry black and white photo of some furtive-looking old man and write in the description that it's the last poem of an obscure yet highly esteemed northumbrian poet who knew ezra pound.

unfortunately, even though I read it in a painfully slow manner, really drawing it out, I still don't think that people will be able to make sense of what I've said when using a saxophone riff as the modulator unless they read the above along with it:

I did two others with longer release times on the filters. The first one set was set at 50 ms and here are two others with one set at 550 ms and the other at one and a half seconds.
The thing is, it's generally going to be even more unintelligible the higher you go with the filter release (I could actually take it as high as 30 seconds which would be completely ridiculous), but I'll leave that up to you.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before.
What was I thinking using a sax riff when I could have been using https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uilleann_pipes

It also makes it more intelligible because there is the droning from the pipes that kicks in about 20 seconds in, but I still wouldn't go higher than 550 ms on the filter release (the middle of the three videos).

Also let me know if there are any of these files or the sax files that you want me to send, or I'll just delete them soon (of course I'll leave up the youtube videos):

Ennis Academy is in session

I can’t listen at full volume just yet - had lunch - but’ll check back

try and draw the notes out as so much playing is note shaping but it’s a sound that quivers even unaided

oh, i'm not playing any of the notes myself
i mean, I suppose I could download a uilleann pipes plug-in, but my playing is going to be complete shit compared to the real thing.
The way things are set up right now, I also can't use my microphone at the same time I'm doing other stuff so it wouldn't really help anyway.
I'm just using the same painfully slow reading that I recorded on its own.

This is what I used as the carrier after I edited out the clapping at the beginning and end (I also shorted my voice recording by about ~5% to match the length):

I think the video with the shorter filter release is pretty good as far as being quasi-intelligible, all things considered.
No matter what, someone will probably have to read along no matter what I use as a carrier.

I'm open to suggestions for another carrier though - I can give it another shot. It should be no more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds though as that is length of my voice recording and I'm already speaking slow enough as it is.
Alternately, it could also be pretty short, and I could just loop whatever it is.
No matter what, to really get the best result, there should be steady, sustained sound.

Londonderry Air, on the other hand, was a discovery made by Jane Ross in the year 1851. On the streets of Limavady, Ireland, the lady heard a musician on his travels perform the tune, and noted it down. The tune was published in 1855 as a collection called “Ancient Music of Ireland.” The song itself had no name or title at this point, although there was a general belief that it had originated in Londonderry, Ireland, and was subsequently named Londonderry Air. Many also believe that the piece dates back to Rory Dall O'Cahan, an Irish composer of the 17th century, who, having heard fairies playing on his harp, created the tune that he named O'Cahan's Lament.
