I watched The Parallax View recently and pulled up some clips of Alex Cox introducing it afterwards. He pops up all the time in the extras of various Blu-rays and DVDs too. We talked a bit about Moviedrome in another thread, but thinking about it again's just jigged memory re: something Luke was saying the other day about the rise of 'cult' in the 90s, spearheaded by people like Tarantino.

in the 90s there was a hige focus on this notion of 'cult' that tarintino was a huge part of and that was a formative inflluence on rich for sure as part of that generation. lots of pulpy kind of stuff, library music, exotica etc
