and that's nothing against rock music it's actually very hard to perfect I think it might have only been Metallica and guns and roses to figure it out. After them, bands ended and everything after was an Act.

did anyone post the heptones version of 'i shall be released'?

didn't realise it was a bob dylan cover tbh, i thought it was just one of the most heavenly slices of dub reggae this side of heart of the congos

There was that thread a while back where @kumar claimed Royal Trux should have been the last rock band.

royal trux are great and i used to love them but they should have been the last band. their whole setup felt like a tacky seance of Rock n Roll itself that got out of hand. trying to invite in and exorcise all the demonic forces invited into the world when mick jagger turned 40. jennifer herrema even sang exactly like the girl from the exorcist. it would have been the appropriate thing to end bands after them. obviously gettting on smack as first hand research is quite cheesy but they recognised the importance of cheese in their mission. obviously thats not a viable approach for young musicians now so they have to do things like get anne frank tattooed on their face if they want to commit to the heros journey.

posting these super popular covers feel redundant, but i am lazy tn.... i think this is first time hearing in full and what.... how.... i kinda thought adele's whole deal was being this overbearing vocal mountain of singing.... but this isnt heavy at all.... im not moved by this at all.... a waning old man translates the word's pathos much better
