A person of colour is always a person of colour...the fake ally's heart jumps with joy on meeting a "trans person" as they will pin that trans person to their chest and mention at every possibly opportunity that they are friends with a trans person (never a person who happens to be trans, note). The apotheosis of this reductive objectification is in the slogan "protect the dolls" - the trans people don't even get to sexed or animate but they do get to be carried around all day by the creeps who fetishise them.

Some pointers, if you want to be a true ally to a person rather than a victim-condition:

1. People are more than their putatively defining victim-condition; focus on the whole person.
2. If you're fed up with being on the victimhood ladder, try kicking it away for a couple of days.
3. Minimising proximal suffering is not the royal road to welfare.
4. When you virtue signal putting someone else first people see you putting yourself first; it's not all about you.
