I don't leave for a number of reasons.
I've kind of spoken about the reasons in a wider sense, but the last few years since moving away from the northwest have been ever-increasing blows to my mental health, and especially in the last year. and then there's the various physical issues...
I don't feel too comfortable giving a lot of the finer details since there are at least a couple of people here that will _intentionally_ give people a hard time even when they know the person they're picking at has completely lost it.
Besides that, I'm more and more having to "babysit" my parents for various reasons - Emergency medical services were just here again yesterday, for example.

I like the idea that a serious poet is an expander of the language. The Bard's neologisms are the classic example but what about literally expanding the capacity of the human nose-throat-lung-mouth system so that whistling was language. Could you develop notation, an IPA type standard.

Which led me to Silbo Gomero, a whistling language from the Canary islands where it's used to communicate between shepherds at great distances, many miles of canyon and crest

Oh, yeah, there are a couple of areas around the perimeter of the house where I can go and set up where nobody can see me.
When I said I never leave the house, it might have been more accurate to say that I never leave the "property".

As a side note, I ran out of one of my meds a couple of days ago, and that kind of sucks since I can't get it refilled without "getting it together", and I def can't "get it together" without it - it was one of the meds that was allowing me to at least tread water.

@catalog has seen me on whatsapp chat - he can attest to how much I look like a crazy homeless man from lack of even being able to take care of myself at even the most basic fundamental levels anymore
