This is a well executed throwback - in the pastel colors, the post-psych tinge to the line, the lettering - to a certain era of paperback design... and also children's animation, like I dunno Crystal Tips and Alastair.
In fact there's a particular designer who did the Beatles Illustrated Lyrics that this reminds me of - Alan Aldridge
Also the diorama (is that the right word?), cross-section of a building effect reminds me of Richard Scarry....
