existential crisis, feeling like I'm in a creative prison

I might be more coherent if I was sober but

@GhostofKinski

here is the abstract:

Many Black scholars reject G.W.F. Hegel, for his Philosophy of History ignominiously and grotesquely denigrates Africans. This article first discusses Negritude’s detournement of Hegel’s theses and, from an African point of view, refutes two Hegelian theses: slavery and the state in Africa. Hegel contradicts itself, and the very dialectic analytical method that excluded Africa from universal history also fully reinstates it.

there are many words that I could use to malign HEGEL but I am all about LOVE and so all I can say is maybe he should have smoked some DMT and then maybe HEGEL 'COULD HAVE BROKEN THROUGH"?

one problem with that. psytrance, which is enough to make you racist towards western Europeans and Israelis.

Whatever this absolutely obnoxious garbage is. I don't know the amount of drug induced masturbation these people had to carry out to regress to such an intellectually infantile level.

WHOAH!

WHOIAH!

that is the "genre" that I DARE NOT NAME!

I tried to call out people in New York for racist philosophy and now I am the "BAD POSTER"?

I thought were were comrades?

We can be, but I am a hyper-rationalist muslamic. dmt cannot just be given to anyone. it must be administered with the strictest authoritarian control.

too late, I broke through and my spirit guide tells me how to navigate thru consensus reality

edit: many posts before, last post from @thirdform is ignored at risk of death by the supreme cosmic council which consist of me, @thirdform, @luka , @woops, if you fail to comply we will drain your bank account and do bad things

In general, I would advise not to take any of luka's pontifications to heart. He has this very london (regionally and culturally specific) sense of biting satire, which has never translated well to north Americans, right from the PiL days and Jah Wobble bullying that drummer out of their first itteration. There's a reason why I respond to him with mock contempt, not because I harbour such feelings, but it's the only way to respond in kind. If you don't, the barbs tend to wound, as opposed to bouncing off the surface. It's a whole theatrical act which I don't think can ever translate to continental Europe, let alone America. @blissblogger may be able to recommend some books on this topic, top (Girondist) intercontinental bloke that he is.
but the context thing is just the well-worn scenius line, and it holds up. to contradict myself you could argue that the creative prison 0bleak is in has no bars because no context, no limitation and overwhelmed by options and archives. floating, featureless, anchorless abstractions and so on. no real world limitations, no chance for undiscovered community to fruit and fester in isolation or opposition for a while. and you could even argue that YOUR marxist overinterpretation of music is a very entertaining attempt to fill this void, same thing going on with 'conceptronica'

also this.
we have to be aware the context is mostly forum here if I'm not mistaken and other places of online listening

if you cannot make any more tracks, make a mixtape out of the renders, send it off somewhere, play them in a set somewhere for real people moving eventually

It seems to me to have no context, one would have to have lived in total isolation with no outside influence, and never have heard any other music in their life.

you talk like a nincompoop who is unable to exercise self-discipline and needs to worship a character or another. I could, if I desired, refute you point-by-point, but all that needs to said is that senius is not a category that is of any utility because the category of genius itself was well and truly shattered by revolutionary Marxism by 1850 at the latest. Even the most egghead academic electronic music, even Beethoven, is senius in the long march of history! you could think like an Ottoman, but you refuse to, with your abiding love for functional harmony and kitsch melodicisms, and not modal music.

I really tend to despise your appeals to bohemianism, and again, the vices of pints and drugs strike again! Stop suckling at the teat of Eno (charlatan that he is) and learn to think! music didn't start in 1990.

I am not filling a void because I have no need to. I see music as history, as content of communication. You see it as some kind of fleeting and modulated commodity or another, inevitably designed to break your heart. You could never truly love music, which is pretty much why @luka has stopped listening to music and the unintelligent, uncouth, thoroughly petty-bourgeois, benny bunter speaks of glimpsing the window, as if he has decided to succumb to dimentia before it catches him out!

No matter how hard I try with you lot, you always seem to have some kind of faecal incontinence.
But you won't heed this advice. I believe in the future, you do not, you merely tenaciously cling to antiquarian futurism.

also this.

you are too easily impressed by nice words.

This construction of the braindead Englishman doesn't make sense. All music is built on collective cumulative knowledge and experimentation, even when mathematically conceived.

War on Brian Eno, death to Brian Eno, shit on Brian Eno's cursed ideals!

another reason I don't get this "no concept" thing - I didn't have more a concept when I was making music for a ~year back in 91-92 back when I was still a teen, before I had to sell my kit or be homeless again, and this seemed to go down well (it seems like even Luka liked it):

I've got the same things driving me again now after a 35 (!) year break.

It doesn't make sense because it's an error in logic. like saying 2+2 =5
