when music videos are good they are one of my favorite formats ever.
the roots "what they do"
nearly all of mark romanek's videos - especially michael & janet "scream"
even seemingly stupid stuff like kylie "can't get you out of my head" THAT video was soo appropriate for that song, with both the vid and the song, apparently nothing is going on, it's repetition and some strange clothes, yet if i happen to be in front of a tele (rarely) and it happens to be on (less rarely) i'd watch it again.
honerable mention for Dizzee's SIRENS. vid was ten times what the track was, which i would've thought would be a sh*t feeling, but then Wiley's videos were tack tack tackyyy, so diz probably wasn't that concerned.
