It's a good thing he keeps the samples really short since he's not always sampling from the best sources (the sources on the second video seems to be almost all dollar bin Carpenters easy listening music - ghastly!), especially as he does nothing much besides some eqing and pitching
I guess that explains why I've never been much taken by him - very conventional sources with no real transformation.
