Something new for a change. A mix we did for Subvert Central's Podcast project.This one was recorded live, simultaneously on 3 decks and 2 CDJ's... we werent 100% happy with the final product, but we didnt have time to do a second take together, so I overdubbed about 11 tunes onto it (also live) after it was done... theres been a lot of talk about ambient music around here lately, so Im sure that some of you will dig it...

btw - For prospective Downloaders - this is part of a series of Podcasts (which Id recommened you subscribe to), so you need to either sign up to it (or mess with the xml to see the file location) if you want to DL....

enjoyed listening to this last night - downloaded fine onto itunes without any subscription stuff

btw i love the way you have put the track list in the lyrics folder - very useful

Didya spot the Queen track? :D You'd be hard pressed to make it out with the other 4 tunes that are playing over it...

That lyrics thing is fairly new - they didnt have it I-tunes last summer... I always put a trackllisting.txt file or something with the mix, but thats defo the way to go.

Seriously thinking about taking all the older mxes down and adding the tracklistings now...

I listened to this last night, back to back with the bug breezeblock session.

I am convinced that both of them will become cornerstones of human culture in the 21st century.

I think you were one of two people I sent it to back in 1998, but you probably didn't listen to it. :)

I'll bring you one up on CD anyway.

interesting insight into the working process there Droid.

This mix really is a firm favourite of mine (even to the xtent that i know when the 'subvert central' robot voice comes in). It's kept me rather blissful as i lie here with a monster cast and brace on my leg (only another 4 weeks to go...)

Flogging a dead horse a bit perhaps, but it was like when you eat a dodgy takeaway and then get nauseous ... I just had to get it out there before I could take a deep breath and move on! :D


I think youre gonna like next weeks offering. Might help get you through those last 4 weeks of recovery... (must seem like a lifetime!) :(
