amazing game. in those types of games it doesn't matter who wins or loses really- in fact, a tie would have been a fair result.
an interesting possibility if flintoff's fit would be to still go into the next match with only 2 front line seamers, with flintoff being one of them (i guess broad would be the logical choice to make way for him?), and medium pacers making up the rest of the seam bowling. given how effective medium pacers tend to be in ODIs and especially in this series, this could be a good tactic for england.
but i think it's more likely that mascerenhas will make way for flintoff.
