Aaha , well you got me in with the 'Gothstep' titling ,
And while not quite feeling or hearing 'Goth' , a not unpleasant track mix to ride through.
Not knowing exactly what sad times were at hand /being dealt with when this was made ,
it's not so shadowy for this bright Sat. morning up here.
But maybe sad for Fla. ?

gothstep is a term a supergoth exgirlfriend
came up with for the sort of stuff i spin
when i dj, which is to say, the manner of
cinematic, melancholy material people like
krust, optical, matrix, and makai were
releasing not long back...

she also invented gothcore, goth and bass,
gothgle, and 2-step gothrage.

all the loops you hear here were culled
from trax written on a beat ass laptop during
a several month long depressive episode,
which inspired me to move in with another
psychotic, borderline personality-having
gothgirl at around this time last year.
