People's Republic Of Disco Xmas Special (London December 16th)

I dunno if i've been around long enough to earn my event-plugging spurs, but here goes..

I run a club in Brixton - nearly 5 years old - called People's Republic of Disco. Simple idea: you bring two tunes, we play them. Genuine eclecticism by the people for the people.

Our Christmas Special is coming up..

Please note: the flyer is kinda deliberately shit (we have done some good ones - lookee ).

The website is being 'worked on' i'm afraid

but anyway - it's £3 all night (8pm till late) and we really do play anything you bring - from Aphex Twin to Sabbath, Dolly to Digital Mystikz.

Your records are always perfectly save - we take them into our Vinyl Cloakroom and you collect them when you leave. Sorted...

So come on down. There's a free badge and fanzine ("The Cake Of Liberty Issue 2" ) for the first 100 in as well.

brilliant idea - is it possible to bring along mp3s or CDS as well?

don't have the kit for mp3s, but if you bring a CD-R it'll be fine (but i'd check it on a normal system, rather than just a PC, before setting out).
