most of the nike skate offerings are nice I think. they had the privilege of watching every other brand make monstrosities such as this and learn what works.

Skate shoes like this were very popular at my middle school and I wonder how much of that was because shoes were the only thing outside dress code regulations and I wonder how much that affected the entire industry.

Actually the Adio ones may not have been Bams, but they were big, horrible, purple ones like that.

I think it was more to protect your feet and ankles. The tech's probably come on a bit since then though as I don't remember getting heel bruises or anything in Nikes. You do get stuff like triple-stitched toe caps to withstand the griptape though.

Those yellow ones are ok, I much prefer them to those Nikes above... to be honest I find almost all trainers too busy and ugly. Same like watches actually I'm always surprised at how overly fussy and heavy - basically tacky - really expensive watches often look.

I'm not usually a picky person but when I walk into a shoe shop I almost always instantly and actively hate 95 percent of what's on offer, which makes it easy to decide at least. I bought some yesterday in fact, I suppose I will wear them every single day from now on until they fall apart.

I prefer the yellow Nikes to the blue and grey ones a couple of posts above which I think are also Nike although I can't see the swoosh.
