There's no photo of it unfortunately (I haven't got a camera), but rest assured the record is in perfect condition...

I really don't wanna get rid of this, but I've got dentist bills you know:mad:

I just don't understand the ebay mentality. Why are you guys purging out all this stuff? I could barely imagine parting with a load of shit vinyl that I'm never going to play again, never mind old Horsepower & Death In June like Eden is.

Are you all strapped for cash? Nursing a serious drug addiction?

Heh heh, I'm quite skint, need the money, need the space, you name it.

I don't like DIJ any more and I never really liked those Horsepower and Kode9 records, shocked tho a lot of people would no doubt be to hear that. I'd rather cash in and be done with it all. Oh and spend the money producing Woofah or supporting current releases.

Mind you ebay aren't exactly making it easy for me -see this!

I think it may also be a "time of life" thing - I've spotted a few people I know from the 80s offloading stuff on ebay...

So, does anyone want to come 'round mine and pick up 500 issues of 2000AD?

Heh heh - I didn't know about the 2nd one. It's a bit like the masons, the CCRU? ;)

Ah.. fair enough if you don't really like em. I just thought from the sad smiley you were reluctant to be losing the DIJ stuff.
EDIT - just read your blog post which makes it all make sense!

I'm a hoarding kinda person, and a lot of things get kept because of a sentimental value they have in reminding me of that time.

2000AD does actually sound quite appealing - my sheltered childhood meant I missed a lot of that sort of stuff!

I was considering peddling me arse on ebay actually, but I don't think I'd get much for it unfortunately:eek:

Ah yeah I can see that - I intended it to be more of a blushing smiley. I think for me there comes a point where hoarding stuff just gets in the way of your life really - I don't want to be surrounded by stuff from 20 years ago any more, tho maybe if I had a mansion in the country I would keep all this in one of the wings as part of some ever expanding eccentric "library" I dunno.

If you're a hoarder then feel free to bid for those 500 comics! ;)
