Anything that gets England knocked out of international tournaments is ok this end
Yeah that always made me think that Ryan had absolutely everything; the magical career, the money, the dream life.. but his brother had one thing, that thing that money can't buy. Yeah, he's not out there shagging supermodels and whatever, but he has the pure and untouchable real love of a good woman, and then Ryan is like "I'll have that too I think". Obviously I dunno what happened but that's the scenario that plays in my head when think of it.Also had an eight-year affair with his brother's wife. Horrible bloke.
So many people hate Neymar and make out that he is this horrible, whining, diving, playboy and a thoroughly nasty piece of work. I try not to let that kind of thing influence me... but I really don't find him at all likable. I guess he does get kicked a lot and I sympathise but... yeah fuck em. I do like Mbappe though, he plays like he is having fun, just getting the ball and going at the goal like a bull at a gate.
I was thinking about Mbappe the other day actually and how his game, based so much around power and pace, tends to be more consistent than, say, Neymar's which depends on tricks and flicks and so on that don't always come off. If Mbappe is fully fit he will always be able to draw on that power and pace - thinking who I'd rather sign if I were a coach I guess.
I think that's the other thing, every time I see him he seems to have a poor game. People tell me he has a lot of great games but I always miss 'em - except against Bayern he was good I gotta admitI thought Neymar was overrated in the 2010 world cup and watching him these days still hasn't dispelled that impression. Cannot believe he is the most expensive footballer in the world.
I hate to say it, but deep down we all know he's right, there is clearly no way that a bunch of noobs like Real Madrid could hope to overturn their insurmountable away goals deficit, and how could a bunch of part-timers such as PSG possibly get two in Manchester. One thing is for sure though, if the UK* do indeed get two teams into the Champions League Final then that will clearly demonstrate the wisdom of brexit and confirm the financial and moral superiority of the UK to the EU. The same also being true if they don't.
