i realized i did do much to "sell" this post, but really it is a good mix... anyone who posesses even one Francois Hardy or Serge Gainsbourg mp3 has not excuse not to check it out...

i went thru 10 years of johnny hallyday's career and selected some real gems... some great session work from jimmy page, mick jones (not the clash one), and the small faces...

Wouldn't mind checking this out sometime although it's tricky at work and I haven't got a computer at home so I don't know when I will. I like a lot of French pop of the sixties but I really didn't know that Hallyday had done enough good stuff for a mix that long so I am quite intrigued.

this will be my last annoying bump of this, but really for 60's french pop/rock this = creme de le crop...

hahahaha

I'm definitely intrigued by that - I don't see how I'll ever manage to listen to it, but I'll link it to some people who might be interested.
