Faktion are very proud to present a release party for Berghain 02, the first commercially available mix CD from Berghain resident, Hardwax employee and hugely respected producer, Marcel Dettmann. The mix is designed to reflect the forward thinking yet classic techno sound that Berghain has become known for, pulling together fresh cuts from T++, Radioslave and Norman Nodge with timeless classics from Risque Rhythum and Strand, to paint a vivid image of what techno is in 2008. Marcel will be joining us to deliver a 2 hour set of techno advancements usually reserved for the hedonists at Berghain, a chance not to be missed!

Fresh from rocking the best parties from Berlin to Japan, DJ Miles will be providing support with a bag full of Modern Love specials and party guaranteed techno.

The chumps from the Spandex Valley Soundsystem will be warming up with a raw Chicago house trip while our residents the Faktion Refinery Unit will fill in the gaps with some synonymous dancefloor freshness.

how do Billy? this will be Marcel's only date for this trip, he's flying back over to Berghain the day after to do their leg of the CD launch. As far as we're aware it's the first time he's played in in the north (but he has played Club 69 in Glasgow if you want to be pedantic )
