What's good? I'm up there this week, looked on 'The List' and some stuff looks good but any other recommendations well welcomed.

Not this week but I have to say this looks like the shit:

A new night for music like no other : where the rules of the West no longer apply, where the sound of voodoo and santería is mixed with raw electricity : where we have the secret, you have the dilemma, and we have the solution : now welcome to CUT HANDS!

Fuuuuuuuuuck! Maybe I'll just stay there until the 25th. Bollocks that's really annoying, that looks really, really good.

Yes it is.

It's a promising idea, I like it. The video on the myspace of the band that's playing is a bit disappointing, they look so aimless and the percussion playing isn't as mental voodoo tranced-out as you'd like (I'm being kind), but it's early days.

Pubs: the waverly, just off the royal mile and the cumberland in the new town are my personal favourites. The galleries are all good really, especial reccomendations are the National Gallery of Scotland, the Museum of Modern art and the Fruitmarket Gallery. Clubs in edinburgh tend to be a bit dodgy. Places that aren't terrible all the time are Cabaret Voltaire and the Bongo club, clubbing isn't well catered for here. I don't really eat out much when I'm home so can't help you there. Underground Solution on Cockburn Street, also just off the royal mile is the best place for record shopping apart from Fopp, which is on Rose Street, just behind Jenners.

Thank you! Highlight of my trip was praying in front of Dolly The Sheep in the Museum of Scotland, it felt like looking at the future of mankind or something, truly sci-fi experience.
