Tonight Chilli Fried, London’s leading global beat session, invites you into the beguiling world of Loungeclash, the collaboration between Neil Sparkes (Temple of Sound/Ex TransGlobal Underground) and Sam Dodson (Loop Guru/Slipper/The Transmitters), presenting a skilful combination of 21st Century Lounge, Electronica and Dub.
Musical adventurers Neil Sparkes and Sam Dodson were brought together as Loungeclash by their passion to combine Exotica sounds with truly Technicolor images and to merge electronic and acoustic music in a Roots Reggae Style. A truly delicious cocktail for electronic music hipsters, lounge fans and world music explorers getting lost somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle and finding God in the shape of Slim Gaillard! A fresh combination of Electronica, Global Grooves and Dub.
LoungeClash built on their World music, Dub and Latino hip-hop influenced productions by adding a cocktail of live congas and percussion with Dub Reggae basses, Theremins, hip Hammonds and smoking Saxophones, the musical result being a distinctive and unique journey through late night Lounge bars and Tropical Tiki paradise.
A new chapter in Lounge Music launched, by two artists at the forefront of Global Groove, Dub and World Music.
All this + resident DJ Jamie Renton spinning global beats and roots rhythms.
