anything more, more of a song structure, and it would be overkill. but as this deadly drum work out, it's sublime.

more brilliance from lenny d ice and DBridge, pushing the samples into pure accelerated grain territory, this is what jungle is about, fulfilling the promises of the abandoned future. antihuman reggae as we once joked on here, albeit in this case its antihuman rare groove. ok ok I'll stop now, but what a tune.

don't ask me for a lossless or 320 cos i don't have one, only an old 192 which is not exactly mixable outside of home. but what a tune.

So perfect, so poignant and so beautifully simple. The way it rolls out straightforwardly, that Amen snare bursting onto the scene singing its heart out, the gentle-giant bassline holding you close with protective support and comfort as your longing for love lost cuts a little too deep. Emotional jungle at its finest, an all time personal favorite. @thirdform tell me this doesn’t bring your inner junglist to tears on the dancefloor!!

Does anyone here like Luke Vibert? If so, recommendations? Just dipping my toes at the beginning of his Amen Andrews series but not that promising so far, maybe it gets better

Bit lite, i enjoy the cinema stabs even if ‘fiyah burnin’ vocals completely ruins whatever was building

bubblegum d&b breaks and bossa shuffles, too lite again (at least for my ears) and I’m no junglist - if you’re gonna have it at least do it right

I was recently reading about Kyohei Kamba, a Japanese journalist who used to write about 'world music' but fell in love with Jungle after coming to the UK to report on the bhangra scene. He returned to Japan and started the Drum & Bass Sessions night in Tokyo, introducing the sound to Japan & going on to be the longest running club night in Tokyo.

He apparently wrote a book called the Junglist Handbook, which I presume is one of those Japanese disc guides they love. More recently he brought out one for dubstep also. Has anybody ever come across the Jungle one?
