Something may be going down in southern Iran - reports of aircraft and large explosions around Daylam, which isn't so far from where Russian technicians are putting the finishing touches to a new nuclear facility.

At the same time, Iranian leaders have vowed to support Syria against the US.

Like, why the FUCK would anyone want to invade Iran?

Surely -- please god -- this is all just to make us feel relieved when they don't actually do it?

On the other hand -- is there a millenarian date for The Rapture? Is there some fundie analog of the "Mayan" 2012?

Cos if that date is coming up soon, then maybe, just maybe, invading Iran would be a great way to bring it on...
