Sounds like I might not have done too badly then. Thought I'd treat myself to a greedy early crimbo prezzie. never bought this many records at once before, especially without really knowing what they are! Might be a bit overwhelming but it should be fun diving in to them. hope there's not too much crap in there.

I've got two weeks off over christmas so I might even have a go at recording a mix of the best of these. Might have to be quite short and a bit cackhanded though cause I only got my first set of decks 2 months ago :eek:

Frankly, I am green with envy, there are some killers in there. Don't throw away any that don't immediately appeal.

And try to use the pitch control more than your hands to get records in time!

Yeah, someone else told me about using the pitch control more. I did have some crappy 2nd hand numarks for about a month (before they broke, inevitably) and it seemed like you had to really manhandle the fuckers. Luckily ive got some nice vestax now but it has taken a bit of getting used to, they're so much more sensitive.

Anyway, cheers for the comments. Been tanning that mix btw :D

i used to work with and buy weed from these guys, my first job outta uni, in a call centre in an industrial estate in the middle of nowhere in essex. fucking funny guys, not sure what the music's like though - i think it's bassline

Sorry to hijack this thread again with my showing off (it really is a superb mix Paul), but my tunes arrived today and I'm wading through them now.
