What's everyone doing then? Any good / affordable nights on (in London)? Straight's night in stokey seems good, anything else similar a-going on?
Lots of my friends are either working or on holiday this year, and there's a few house party ideas amongst the rest of us, but it's all a bit sketchy and spread out at the moment... I just don't want my night to end up in the "crappest parties" thread.
I hate getting suckered into the idea that i have to be having an amazing time on new year's, but nonetheless i can't help getting really miserable when the clock strikes midnight and i'm playing monopoly or something
