Right, you can't pick Autumn or Spring because I don't really know what they are. Pluses of each:

Winter: stew is cheap to make, DVDs are cheap to rent

Summer: you can drink outside, you don't have to turn the heating on.

This is a stupid thread, isn't it?

Seasons? I thought Britain just had the one with more sun and the one with more rain.

Summer for us - no -30 heating, more light, more bikes less busses, cooking on the BBQ, drinking cheap beer outside

winter for me

I pay flat rent + bills all year so no difference in heating. Summer means lots of big events, festivals, parties etc as well as my annual trip back home to Australia which costs lots of £££

Winter in Canada for me is much cheaper, with the exception of Christmas and New Years. I don't go out to bars hardly as much because I can't face the cold, and I don't go out for cigarettes as much because I can't face the cold. So basically my two main expenses have been taken care of.

I can't spend money fast enough in the summer.

This winter's heating bills were an extra £300, I never go on holiday* and, as of this year, I've got 6 nephews and nieces to by xmas presents for.

Winter, mos def.

*and if I did it would most likely be to escape the cold.
